Why did I receive a new Wal-Mart Credit Card? (back to top)
Terrific News! Your new Wal-Mart Credit Card has a fresh new look and powerful new benefits that let you do more and save more! Your new card replaces your old card; please destroy your old card. You still have the same account number so any transactions that you made with your old card, including payments, will apply to your new account automatically

What do I have to do in order to use my new Wal-Mart Credit Card?  (back to top)
You must activate your card before you can use it. Just call toll-free 1-866-619-7890 from your home phone. Your new card replaces your old card; please destroy your old card. Then sign the back of your credit card and put it in your wallet. Now you're ready to shop! Or, you can go to any Wal-Mart store or Walmartcreditcard.com to activate your card.

Can I continue using my old card?  (back to top)
Your new card, replaces your old card. You should activate your new card by calling 1-866-619-7890 and destroy your old card immediately. Your new card has enhanced security features to help safeguard your account from unauthorized use and many powerful new benefits that make it easier to shop and save!

Why didn't I get a new card?  (back to top)
We will be reissuing new Wal-Mart Credit Cards through November14th, 2003. You can continue to use your old card until you receive your new card. If you have not received your card by November 20th please call the credit center toll-free at 1-877-294-7880.

With your new Wal-Mart Credit Card you can make monthly credit card payments at any Wal-Mart or SAM'S CLUB register nationwide. Nothing could be faster or easier! And the payment is credited to your account immediately, clearing your credit line for purchases you want to make the same day! Your Wal-Mart Credit Card or your current billing statement is recommended for processing.

The Big Ticket Payment Plan makes it easier for you to budget your monthly payment on Big Ticket purchases like large screen TV's, appliances or jewelry. Just purchase any single merchandise item of $399 or more and your total sales receipt will be billed to you at 1/40th of your purchase*. Big Ticket purchases will be listed separately from regular purchases on your billing statement. Your total minimum payment due will reflect all purchases, so you only have to write one check per month. Please note: Former Montgomery Ward's cardholders may already enjoy this feature as part of their credit terms and benefits. (Excludes the following types of purchases: Walmart.com, samsclub.com, Cash, Thrifty Car Rental, Wal-Mart Connect, AOL, Portrait Studios, Check Printing.)

Your total credit line may be used for Big Ticket purchases, provided your account has at least $399 available credit, but no separate credit line exists.

No, unfortunately the Big Ticket Payment Plan does not apply to merchandise purchases made online.

Where do I purchase phone minutes, and how much do they cost? (back to top)
AT&T phone minutes can be purchased at any Wal-Mart store location for the Every Day Low Price of just $.05 per minute for US domestic and Puerto Rico calls! You can charge in 10-minute increments. Just ask any Wal-Mart cashier to "charge" your new Wal-Mart Credit Card. Phone Minutes must be purchased separately from your other purchases.Please call 1-800-348-1931 if you have any questions about phone minute rates.For international rates call toll-free 1-888-854-6741. A surcharge of at least 10 minutes, (subject to increase) applies to pay-phone calls. International flat rates are higher than US domestic flat rates, (differ according to destination called and are subject to change). Rates may be higher for calls made to or from mobile phones. See full terms and conditions sent to you with your new card. Phone minutes cannot be purchased at SAM'S CLUB or Gas Stations.

To use your phone minutes, just call toll-free 1-800-348-1931. When prompted, enter the 11-digit "Customer Number" printed on the back of your new Wal-Mart Credit Card. When you run out of minutes, just stop by the nearest Wal-Mart to buy more!

We're introducing an exciting new feature called Quick Cash that allows you to get $20 cash back when you make a purchase using your new Wal-Mart Credit Card. It's faster and easier than a trip to the bank and there are no ATM fees! The $20 you withdraw is added to your monthly bill just like any other purchase! Some limitations apply*.

Quick Cash transactions must be made with a merchandise purchase at a Wal-Mart owned register in a Wal-Mart store and are limited to $20…no more or less. You can make one Quick Cash transaction per day, as long as you do not exceed your Cash Advance Limit and your account remains in good standing.Please Note: Excludes purchases made at leased departments

Is there a fee for Quick Cash transactions? (back to top)
No! Transaction fees do not apply to Quick Cash transactions. Normal repayment terms and finance charges apply just like they would for a merchandise purchase.

No. Your Cash Advance Limit is a portion of your Total Credit Limit.

What is my Cash Advance Limit and my Cash Available?  (back to top)
There are a number of ways you can find out your Cash Advance Limit and Cash Available. Access your account information at Walmartcreditcard.com or call the credit center toll-free at 1-800-294-7880. You can also find your Cash Advance Limit and Cash Available on your monthly billing statement.

Do I need a Personal Identification Number (PIN) to use the Quick Cash feature?

No. Unfortunately, the Quick Cash feature is not available at the ATM's in Wal-Mart.

Save $.03 per gallon at the Gas Pump! (back to top)
With your Wal-Mart Credit Card you can save $.03 per gallon every time you use your Wal-Mart Credit Card to fill up your tank at participating gas stations*. To find a participating gas station in your area, sign onto Walmart.com and check the store locator. Look for the $.03 Wal-Mart Credit Card discount sign at the pump to see if the gas stations in your area are participating. $.03 off per gallon offer applies to the regular street price but does not apply to the SAM'S Club member discount.

Just swipe your Wal-Mart Credit Card when paying at the participating gas station and watch the price rollback $.03 at the pump. Look for the $.03 Wal-Mart Credit Card discount sign at the pump to see if the gas stations in your area are participating. $.03 off per gallon offer applies to the regular street price but cannot be combined with the SAM'S Club member discount.

*Applies to individual sales receipts of $250 or more made at Walmart.com from 4/1/04 to 6/30/04 with your consumer Wal-Mart Credit Card. No finance charges will be assessed on promotional purchases for 3 months. Minimum payments are required. Regular credit terms apply to non-promotional purchases. Offer subject to credit approval. Yes. After you log-in, select "Additional Card Request" from the e-Service menu. The online request will provide an additional card in the primary cardmember's name. The card will be sent to the address on record.

Please Note: This online form should not be used if your card was lost or stolen. Lost or stolen cards should be reported immediately by calling Customer Service toll free at 1 877-362-5952.
